Can't stop, these stitches from
Tearing, opening festuring wounds
They, always end up the same
Wash away the crimson pool of lies
The only way they'll understand
That things arent always what they seem
Fear of fading out a failure
Remove, parts that seem to
Hinder, coagulation takes form
Of, who I used to be
So self righteous
Wash away the crimson pool of lies
The only way they'll understand
That things arent always what they seem
You are just a failure
Tear apart their every thought of meaning
Cut them deep and bleed them dry
With these words
You will never overcome this madness
Forcing you to live a life you dont want
Stab, stab, cutting deep
Read, read, these words
Choke, choke on blood
Pray, pray some more
OSDM the way it should be. The best traits of genre are on display. Technical, punchy, catchy and head banging inducing. With almost neoclassical solos and John Tardy vocals Dmitry Nevozhay
Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723
This album being played over the PA system at the museum where Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" is housed is what caused the faces of the clocks in the painting to melt. meeko
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
