Leaving the place we call home
In search of more
Heading East, to isolation
Hope to find ourselves
Fuel is lacking, boat is dying
Lets set up camp
Booze is flowing, we're all thinking
Food is running out
Coasting miles
In hope of something, or someone
Hunger growing, no ones coming
What are we to do
Do they know
What I've done
Who is next
Has it come to this
They are getting weak as am I
We need to feast
Wait for the first one to sleep
and then, ill do him in
Drag him into the cellar
No one will look there
Dismembered body, feeds a plenty Where did you get this meat
Stomachs, churning, mind is blurry what have I done
They are asking, what has happened Shut up, and just eat
Do they know
What I've done
Who is next
Has it come to this
No one wants to die
But you must
Survival of the fittest
Blood soaked knife
Can I live with this
Who will know
Time to go, they're all dead
Nothings left, but the bones
Floating back, is this home
Mind is blank
No ones home
Can't seem to escape this place
That I now call home
Slowly starving, must I do this
Feeding on my own limbs
Slowly bleeding out

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

OSDM the way it should be. The best traits of genre are on display. Technical, punchy, catchy and head banging inducing. With almost neoclassical solos and John Tardy vocals Dmitry Nevozhay

This album being played over the PA system at the museum where Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" is housed is what caused the faces of the clocks in the painting to melt. meeko

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
